“The more you praise and celebrate in your life, the more there is in life to celebrate” and thus all the Vinovians fervently gathered together to celebrate the 7^th year completion of Vinove on 10^th September’ 11 at Pacific Asia Banquet. Like the previous year, all our houses “Uttak Ke Puttar, Eastern Tigers, Southern Surmas & Western Yodhas” took the charge of hosting and managing the event & left everyone mesmerized with their thoughtful planning and execution of the event.

Guests were welcomed by Ms. Bhavna Gupta, HR Manager at Vinove and then she invited the Director of the Company, Mr. Parvesh Aggarwal to address the gathering and share his feelings on the success of 7^th year completion of Vinove. With pride and joy in his eyes, Mr. Parvesh Aggarwal congratulated everyone for being a part of this success.  After his brief and energetic presentation about the past seven years of the company, he proclaimed that the seventh year had been the most successful and flourishing in the history of Vinove. His words resonated with the sentiments of everyone present as they gave him a rapturous applause. When Mr. Aggarwal left the stage, he promised one and all “an enchanting and memorable evening”.

The promise was well kept as the hosts; the talented Vinovians “Manjeet Singh and Satbir Singh” took over the proceedings and created ripples of laughter in the hall with their witty remarks and fantastic sense of humor. Various staff members displayed their talents in the form of singing, dancing, acting etc. and entertained the audience.

The Fresh Talent of Vinove also displayed their flair as they performed a highly motivating skit on stage. The courage with which they presented themselves in front of the audience was commendable. As the freshers entertained the audience, the seasoned employees weren’t left far behind. They delivered a skit addressing the social issue of corruption, urging one and all to fight against the demon of corruption. Huge sentiments built up when the team of Operation Managers performed a skit and lauded the Delivery Head “Mr. Mohit Malik” to be one of the finest Delivery Head they have ever seen.

The highly electric and energetic performance by the professional Bhangra Group marked the crescendo of the evening.  The enthusiasm and the energy levels of the audience couldn’t be contained later and everyone jumped on the dance floor like a storm & danced their hearts out. The ecstasy and euphoria exuded on the dance floor was unmatchable. It was as if everyone was waiting for a chance to express their sense of pride, achievement and joy.

However the celebrations shouldn’t make us complacent.  There has to be zeal to achieve great heights of success. Over the past seven years, Vinove has garnered immense global recognition and growth through constant learning and innovations. For a company, to deal with the changing environment & achieve the set goals; it is required to change and rejuvenate itself with the changing times and Vinove is all set to change now. As a first step towards this change, the current logo of Vinove which has been an integral part of Vinove right from its inception will retire and make way for a new logo chosen from various designs. The new logo aptly represents the modern contemporary bold and strong look yet maintaining the authenticity and simplicity.

The 7^th year’s completion celebration of Vinove was a huge success fostering further ties and the sense of belongingness amongst the employees. They laughed, cried, enjoyed and danced together, attaining the new levels of camaraderie and harmony.  Vinovians will always fondly remember the celebration with a smile on their faces.

Like the arrival of spring season which signifies the warmness of atmosphere has started and  enlightened all the living beings in earth to bloom out with joyous spirit again. Similarly, Vinove has  also arrived its realm to organize sports league which brings warmness and togetherness of employee’s spirits. As sports is a remarkable obsession of mankind since immemorial time, sports event is  no doubt, not only a great entertainment source for the entire community but solely brings a much needed break from the daily busy schedules. Its an event of joy to show the colors, zeal and how supportive each and everyone is towards such  a lively organization.

Last year, Vinove organized a sports event which was a phenomenal success, extremely promising and was encouraging for all of our employees who actively participated in the “Vinove Sports League 2010”. Vinove has been imparting a potential and quality services to its client’s as well as providing opportunities to its employees to participate in different sports events.

Once again, this time Vinove organized “Vinove sports league 2011” on February,12th, 2011 to drive out the hidden talent of sports that embedded within each enthusiastic employee. With the starting of the event, the first game to kick off was the cricket match between ‘Vinove 11′ and ‘Pixelcrayons 11′  in which ‘Vinove 11′ won the match with few runs ahead and honored with the glittering award of ‘Cricket Winners 2011’.  Vinove 11 began with the batting first, then followed by the ‘Pixelcrayons 11′. Indeed, all the players from both the teams contributed with high spirit which even raised the excitement of the audiences, who were not involved in any part of the team, to such a great extent of shouting, getting thrilled and cheering. It was like a cricket world cup being held in our Vinove within.

Besides this exciting game we also had tournaments like Skipping, Badminton, Football and Tug of War participated by our four teams – Uttar ke Puttar, Eastern Tigers, Western Yodhas and Southern Surmas. The tournaments of football and tug of war were held between two teams which were led by the combination of two teams into one team, that is  Uttar ke Puttar and  Southern Surmas as one team whereas the other team is made  Eastern Tigers and Western Yodhas  as one. In tug of war, team of Eastern Tigers and Western Yodhas was defeated by the team of Uttar ke Puttar and  Southern Surmas.

The active participants of these games apart from the cricket also took home the accolades and gold medals with many greetings from the peers side. After the closure of the games, a good refreshment program was followed to fresh up all the employees again, revive with fun and enjoyment through the day.

The scenario of sports event reflected so much of nostalgic about the period of childhood and produced our yearns for those loving moments to come back in our lives. But with this organization of “Vinove sports league 2011”, Vinove have implanted and fulfilled again in our hearts successfully that those precious moments have never gone far away from us. Further, it has made us realized that we still have the same energy, excitement and the aura of love though the time changes.

In fact, it was not the matter of who win and lose but its all about togetherness, sharing happiness and bringing the sense of oneness.

A tagline is a combination of few words which expresses your aspiration as well as your dedication towards your business. Now Vinove has emerged with its new tagline which briefly explains the motive behind running this organization. Yes the letters in bold above simply comprises of three words, but the idea behind these three words are far more than it. “We Mean IT” not only shows the level of devotion which its employees provide for it, but it also represents the amount of hardwork and the kind of bonding which we have regarding our organization. With a sole objective to provide a “value” to our clients, Vinove has emerged as an indefatigable organization and there is still a long way to go.

The interesting part is how we selected this tagline? So to answer this, the Director of our company Mr. Parvesh Aggrawal asked all the employees to dig into the deep level of their creativity and suggest some options for this. We got some of the most creative thoughts in front of us in form of 90 taglines, out of which two were considered by our elite management. The one was from our very own Mr. Boss while the other tagline was suggested by Amit Sharma. Now the question was, which one will suit the best? So, to end up with this dilemma our management thought it better to be democratic and we had a voting for both the taglines.

On the grand day of our Annual day celebration, the winner was announced and he was; Amit Sharma, who suggested this tagline. He expressed his thoughts behind selecting this tagline and felt honored to provide something valuable to the organization which will be a part of it for years.

As promised, in our earlier post we are going to tell you about our next activity we carried out recently as a part of our CSR Program. This time we have made donation in a government- aided school located in Old Delhi, which has taken the initiative of educating girl children. We found that the school is struggling financially where the students, belonging to poor families, are in dire need of supplies from others. For their basic necessities such as uniform, shoes, books, stationary and even meals, they have to be dependent on donations and funding from others. Needless to say that school teachers as well as other staff members contribute a lot and do their best to help these little children.

We thought, any assistance given to the school in the form of belongings or fund can better the lives of girls studying there. After having it discussed with the school principle, we got to know about the requirements students had currently. As we saw children coming to school bare feet and the same was suggested by the school principle, we donated school shoes to kids who were in much need. We also spent time with the children inside the school and got to know more about them, what difficulties they are facing in their day to day lives. It was sad to know that most of these students are deprived of two meals a day or they do not even get meal for two consecutive days at their homes and above all, most of the students find it impossible to pay Rs 10 as their monthly school fee. Deep down in our heart, we were overwhelmed to see their smiling faces after they received this small gift from us.

Consider once before throwing any of your belongings in the dustbin. Isn’t it better to give it to someone who is in real need of it? Think! What happens if one fine day we who have all the privileges are deprived of any one of the basic utilities, what will we do? Then survival for us will become very very difficult. Isn’t it? So, let us together make this world a better, a wiser place to live in by nurturing each child with care and love and giving them what they want.

When we think about sports and games in a life where we are busy with long working hours, we probably think about college students or school kids fighting out on their favourite sports. This is the time when merely the thought of Sports excites everyone of us. So we actualized this thought by organising ‘Vinove Sports League’ that continued for over a month. The main attractions of ultimate Vinove Sports League were Cricket tournaments and Relay Race competition along with Badminton, Football and various other games.

This was an initiative taken up by Vinove to ensure that people working in the company do not only bind themselves to work but also get a chance to relive other dimensions of their lives. Through these interactive sports activities and team building events, they got a chance to reiterate their childhood days in fun filled environment inside and out, which is required by them to work with more enthusiasm along with fun.

Vinove is an organization where we do take care of our employees in terms of fulfilling their necessities whether it is about fun, refreshment or any other. How many of us, in spite of having passion for cricket deep inside our heart, could never get a chance to play on the level field after school or college? Well, Vinove Sports League gave us all of that.

Nevertheless, Cricket has always been the most exciting and most popular match among all. The tournament was played on a league-cum-knock out basis where we had four teams, namely Uttar ke Puttar, Eastern Tigers, Western Yodhas and Southern Surmas vying for the ‘Winner’s Trophy’. Also, we had Relay Race Competition among the four teams. It was understood that winners of semifinals will play final.

The first cricket match was conducted between Uttar ke Puttar and Southern Surmas in which Southern Surmas won the match. And Uttar Ke Putter was the winner of Relay Race. Every player has made an important contribution to the team. While the match was on, other members who were not the part of any of the teams were still found in full spirit as they were shouting, cheering, and boosting up their team members. Rest others were busy in playing Football, Badminton and Frisbee.

The Second round of Cricket match held between Eastern Tigers and Western Yodhas, where Eastern Tigers defeated Western Yodhas in Cricket as well as it was declared the winner of Relay Race as well.

Then came the day when we had our final cricket match between the winners of semi finals, Eastern Tigers and Southern Surmas, and the final Relay Race competition between Eastern Tigers and Uttar ke Puttar. Teams participating in finals believed that campaigning was essential in order to survive or defeat the opposite team and to boost up the moral of their team players. Though the spirit of the game involved respect for opponent teams where all the participating teams were looked enthusiastic, all set to take the challenge of the opponents.

In the final, Eastern Tigers made 175 runs for the loss of two wickets, defeating Southern Surmas by 40 runs, whereas Uttar Ke Puttar went on to win competition by defeating Eastern Tigers in the Relay Race. Eastern Tigers took home Winner’s Trophy with accolades and Uttar ke Puttar got medals.

After having reflected the overwhelming response from increased number of participating and enthusiastic members, Vinove has planned to organize more events as part of Vinove Sports League in the coming months.
