Our commitment

Vinove is committed to making vinove.com accessible to as many people as possible. This includes people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

We aim to design and build pages that work with assistive technologies including screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom. Where we fall short, we want to know about it so we can fix it.

Standards

Our target conformance level is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

We use the following practices to work toward this target:

  • Semantic HTML elements to provide structure screen readers can interpret
  • ARIA labels and roles where native HTML semantics are insufficient
  • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Skip navigation links to bypass repeated content
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and interactive components

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas where we have not yet achieved full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance:

  • Some images across the site do not yet have descriptive alt text. We are working through these and adding appropriate descriptions.
  • Some decorative images may be missing explicit empty alt attributes in older page sections. This is being addressed as pages are updated.

We are actively improving these areas. If you find an issue that is not listed here, please let us know.

The site has been tested with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop, and with Chrome and Safari on mobile. Screen reader testing has been carried out with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
